I have finally fired up the powder coater, now I want to PC everything and the first choice is always the valve cover.
What color should it be?
Should have mentioned, the valve cover is i guess a very early DOHC cover. all it says is DOHC 16v. but it is the 2.4l style with the square valley, not the 2.0 style with the wavy valley.

I am pretty sure the DOHC one you have (with out the 2.4l on it) is a plastic one, so it will not be polished. Buy the 2001+ 2.4l Stratus's had an aluminum style VC like that. That is what I have and I am painting mine Wrinkle black with polished letters.

Yea, no relaveance to this thread. On the other hand, I think the wrinkle black and alum is the shi* to go with.
Yeah i just noticed the other one was all plastic when i went to sand it down and i was getting plastic shavings.. damn.
well ill strip the one in the car and it looks like black on aluminum is going to be the winner..
Didn't like the plastic one. I can understand why.
