Socketed NON turbo SBEC???

Does anybody know if it is possible to take a non turbo sbec and socket it to use on a turbo car?

I want to try this because I may have messed up my stock one socketing it. i could never get the car to run with quantums chip converter and an ostrich (and they should both be good). I did manage to buy a used turbo sbec from a member and now it runs but i would like to leave that one stock so i always have a backup that at least makes the car run. Not too many turbo cars in the junkyard these days....thats why i would like to try a non turbo one because they should be cheap and easy to find.

Won't work. TBI computers don't have the hardware to run 4 injectors...

Thanks guys. I assume my problem lies in my socketed unit because the car wont run even with a stock cal loaded onto the ost.

Yeah. the computer cant use 4 injectors.
