solid rear disc pads = neon rear disc pads

I have a set of HAWK pads that I got for my solid disc rear break setup off of a 1989 Lebaron turbo.

I also have been racing my 99 neon RT with a 4 wheel rear soild disk setup. All the while I thought they looked pretty similar... Well guess what. The pads are EXACTLY the same. I'lll be looking into what else swaps... they're probably exactly the same setup. ~~H

The 88 disks are different than the 89+ rear disks. The 88s don't have the drum park break. I don't know about the pads though...

Look closer at the K frame they are different, the mount of the A-arms is very different......

From http://www.ndperformance.com/ the ND Neon project.
"Incidentally, the rear brake hardware for an ACR and an 88-89 Daytona Shelby are the same. Same part number, everything. However, call a parts store for a caliper for a 96 ACR, and hang onto your wallet! Daytona brakes at the same store were significantly less. Go figure"

    Future Project:
I wonder if I could swap the K-frame and arms from an '89 TM to my '02 Neon?

Murphy, the vented are the 11" brakes the non vented are the 10" breaks or lowver.
