Inviting all our Turbo friends at Carlisle to the Third Annual SV-TD & SV-SDAC picnic AKA Uncle Denny's Campground Bash Saturday night (11th) at the old Getty Station parking lot just north of main entrance, gate 3. Picnic will start around 5 PM, and continue until the wee hours for those coming over after the bikini and burnout contests. We have made a deal with the lot owner to reduce the price of overnight camping, so evening parking for the picnic is free, overnight parking and camping is available for $5/night for our visitors, payable to the SV club - 1/2 off. It is a gravel lot so please consider your personal comfort level before deciding to pitch a tent (air matress recommended). We will be there with our campers and trailers each night from Thursday, and possibly a few starting Wednesday.
Burgers, dogs and snacks provided, lots of music, movies are a maybe this year pending projector availability. bring your own adult beverages. For those new to the Carlisle event, we usually attend the Kickoff to Carlisle Car Show Thursday night, this year at Cumberland Valley Motors, then make a trip further up the Carlisle pike to Hooters. Back to the lot for the night, and we spend each night at our campers relaxing and "having a few". Hope you can join us!
