    Re: Turbonator SBEC Codebase

    I moved the .asm file into the folder the program was in and I get a major error in assembly process.

    Here's what I get

    ?ASxxxx-Error-< > in line 7654 of C:\Users\Farr\Desktop\Cal Programming\Programming\91 Daytona\t-sbec_v4.asm
    <d> direct page addressing error
    ?ASxxxx-Error-< > in line 12896 of C:\Users\Farr\Desktop\Cal Programming\Programming\91 Daytona\t-sbec_v4.asm
    <d> direct page addressing error

    I put the old asm back and everything seems to compile fine.

    Doh! oops...

    Try this one. Same deal, just copy over the .asm and re-compile.

    The car started and ran now. I let the car warm up and then tried the staging limiter but it just rev'd to redline, the check engine light came on, and the car died.The car wouldn't start after that. The fuel pump wouldn't prime either. I put the old cal back in and it started and ran fine.

    Re: Turbonator SBEC Codebase

    So, I just finished (well, nearly finished) installing an SBEC harness in my Daytona. Later today, I hope to get a computer in it. Then I can test T/ SBEC in my own car.

    Sorry Benji. I was hoping we could get it all sorted in your car @ SDAC. Too bad I had to cancel.

    Hopefully, I can post V4 in the next week or so.

    My blue Omni is happy to hear this Rob. I can't wait to get the SBEC in it and have the car on the road.

    Sounds good. I did get a few 1.9 60's so I'm getting better with the launch. The staging limiter will just make it easier.

    Re: Turbonator SBEC Codebase

    OK, think I figured out what's going on with the staging limiter. The switch selection was screwed up. I fixed that, so I'll give the new code a try later this week...

    Benji, if you want to apply the same fix to yours, open up your .tpl file on notepad, search for "STGSWS_StagingLimiterEnableSwitch", and paste all of this data over the existing definition. You'll have to re-select the switch used in MP Tune. Then re-compile and give it a shot...

    Code:
    STGSWS_StagingLimiterEnableSwitch:
        ;mpgrp Turbonator_Features\Launch_Control\Launch_Control_Entry_Conditions\
        ;mptbladdr 0x2473
        ;mptbltype 5
        ;mpsubtype n
        ;mptbllname StagingLimiterEnableSwitch
        ;mptblcname STGSWS
        ;mpxaxis IN 0 255 X
        ;mpyaxis OUT 0 255 Y
        ;mptbldesc Switch_that_will_activate_the_staging_limiter.
        ;mpchoices Bit7(Do_Not_Use)  A/C_Clutch_Input(Do_Not_Use) Speed_Control_Set_(Momentary)  Bit4(Do_Not_Use) Speed_Control_On/Off  Brake_Switch Speed_Control_Resume_(Momentary) Park/Neutral_Switch
        .byte 0x00                       ;Point 1
        stg_bit7           	        = $%10000000	;
        stg_ACclutch       	        = $%01000000	; A/C Clutch input
        stg_CruiseSet              	= $%00100000	; Cruise Set
        stg_bit4                    = $%00010000	;
        stg_CruiseOnOff         	= $%00001000	; Cruise On/Off

    OK so I pasted the section in and tried saving but now my computer has it listed as a text file instead of a tpl. how should I save it so MPTune will recognize it.

    Got it saved correctly now, just have to try it.

    Tried it and still nothing, let me know if it works for you

The 3 different boost control schemes use some of the same label names, but the values are very different. So, I'm trying to decide the best way to setup the different boost control schemes. I don't really want to include redundant labels; it just takes up more space...

    HAH! Knew I wasn't on crack about seeing this vac diagram. Maybe it's a 92 or late 91 thing.

    My friends Shadow vert has the same vac diagram though. Sure looks like T2 boost routing to me.

    Re: Turbonator SBEC Codebase

    Looks like T2, but it really depends on how the solenoid is plumbed. Is it normally vented? And powered to actuate the WGA? That would be like T2.

    It could be plumbed the opposite way. Which would work like the T1 in code, but more like the T2 in practice.

    Good find. I wonder if the TIII is similar?

    I think I figured out how this works. Since it's not necessarily and SBEC-specific issue, I started a new thread for it here - http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...77#post1024377

    Thanks for posting that diagram. Very enlightening.

    Are the updates to the SMEC staging limiter going to transfer over to the SBEC when they are finalized?

    Re: Turbonator SBEC Codebase

    Ok made some progress. The spark cut staging limiter is now working. Except for one thing - it doesn't detect any switch changes, so it's ALWAYS on. This is also likely the same problem as the cruise control (and switchable boost). The RAM location that's used for temporary copy of the switch state, doesn't seem to be getting updated correctly. I'm trying to figure out why/where it's gone wrong...
