Question Larger brakes up front, stock drums in rear

Going with the larger 11" rotor up front and keeping the stock drums in the back.

Vehicle is a 94 P body with the stock 10.25" front rotors and drums in the rear. bolting the bigger calipers & rotor on isnt a problem but what MC and proportioning valve combination would I need ?

I was thinking minivan stuff since they already have this setup but they also have larger drums in the rear so I dont know or since my existing prop valve is tuned for disc/drum braking would I only need the larger master cylinder to match the bigger calipers ?

    Thanks

If you leaving the drums alone, which also begs the question why?

Then just put the front discs on, use the 24mm master and leave the prop valve alone until you put rear discs on.

Because drums work and the rear disc setup for my intentions is unnecessary.

If the rears did a majority of the stopping power then I would upgrade there also but they dont.

You would be suprised how much braking the rears can do. My opinion but drums don't work and suck azz, discs are much nicer to work on and look mucho better,

Re: Larger brakes up front, stock drums in rear

You will need 15 inch wheels to clear the calipers of the 11" brakes.
To answer your question, you shouldn't have any problems by just doing the fronts. I upgraded the fronts to 11" before the rear on my old Spirit, and the braking difference was amazing even with the stock drums. After I threw on the 11" rears it was able to throw you into the dash. You should use the larger master cylinder because of the larger volume of fluid that the new brakes need. Your car should have the yellow tag prop valve which is fine for disc/drum or disc/disc.
