Hey guys...i have a bottle of loctite 680 from work...i was woundering if this would be a simular subsitute for the anaerobic sealant? If i dont have to spend 16 bucks on the anaerobic stuff i wont. just curious if anyone knows?

It should be ok. It has a higher shear strength, that is all. I would use it if it were me.

my anerobic sealer is a loctite something, not sure on the # though.
