I just picked up my new ride, an 88 daytona TII. The PO installed 804 injectors, 3 in exhaust with no cat/muffler, mopar computer and a map clamp. My question is what is a map clamp and how does it work. When I drive the car at WOT the boost guage will not rise above 5psi. It also has a BOV. It just doesn't feel like it's getting full boost, but you can definitly here the turbo spool up? Any thoughts?
