    intake sealant?

    What are you guys using to reseal the upper and lower inake halves back together after you take them apart?

    I used permatex ultra grey, works great for me. Just remember to only put down a very small bead, dont need alot

    Felpro includes a gasket in their upper gasket set. The price of the set is worth it for the intake gasket last I bought one.

    I think hes talking about the upper plenum pieces, not the upper to the lower. not sure though could be wrong

    Yeah I am talking about the upper halves. Sorry for not stating one or the other guys.

    You mean the whole intake and exhaust manifold to the head?

    What do you mean the two halves of the plenum? Unless I'm mistaken the two piece splits into two halves, the upper with the plenum, and the lower which is the majority of the runners. For that there is a gasket.

    I don't know how else it comes apart?

    on a 3.0l the upper plenum is 2 pieces and can be split open and ported, and is completely seprate from the lower portion

    I actually just noticed that this is the 3.0 section. You will excuse my confusion in previous posts. I actually have no idea what the answer is to the question now.
