    Bobble Strut

I just installed my new poly bushings bobble strut. (looks too nice to put under the car). How much pre load should I use? I put a jack under the trans and jacked it up about 1/2 an inch. I don't have a lot of vibration like I thought I would have but it shifts really really firm. I like it but on the other side it feels like I might break something..axles, trans..etc.

This combined with the 52mm TB, and my 3" IC piping with BOV and new airshocks in the rear.. It's like a totally new car. I find it difficult driving around with an erection all the time . Can't wait for SDAC!!!

If they engine is level it is good...too much preload will cause it to tilt. It is not going to cause you to break something; if anything it is better for the drive line.

If you don't think the vibration is bad then leave it. I set mine with zero preload, of course it's much stiffer than the PB model.

    Re: Bobble Strut

i always liked lots of preload on mine

u should have to jack the front motor mount up slightly for it to butt up against the rad cradle, then tighten screws!!!

but like jay mentioned, lots of vibration.

if your still running stock mushy mounts, id def go with some preload to help keep things firm

Yeah I still have the stock mushy mounts. That will change very soon.
