I'm thinking no. I thought Simon put a Daytona Shelby big bar on the front of his van?

I put a 1 1/4" Daytona bar into a Mini with zero response. It takes some fabrication with "Poly Bushings" but other than that I'm using factory stuff. Simon had to build brackets and weld. The Daytona has a shorter bar than the van. You can view my write up here: http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=37552

What do you mean "zero response"??

I have a 2nd Gen K-member but made a 87 Z front sway bar fit, it took me about 8-10 hours, as it hit the K-member and I had to shorten it and add eyelets. Was it worth it, HELL YEAH, artywoot" Also install poly bushings,

I have a 2nd gen rear sway bar on, made a huge difference, but welding is required. When i get rich, I want Johnny's rear 1 1/4 puppy on,

isnt it 1000 times more easy just to grab a rear trailing arm off a sport and just swap it into the 89 no welding or anything just have to bolt it in expect for the endlink brackets but thats no biggie

Huh? You have to weld the link kit brackets to the frame, you simply use exhaust clamps for the axle.

Simon and his welding. Here's my mini-van rear sway bar and I only had to drill four holes.

What can I say, I like to weld, and I don't like putting large access holes in my already soft, twisty so called chassis,

    Re: Minivan sway bars

If you have a welder handy honestly it really would be alot easier to just weld them

True you are in the frozen tundra of North America.

Just so you know, the large holes next to the rear sway bar brackets on the body were already there. I only had to drill holes for the four bolts.

True but like I said to Simon on another thread awhile ago, Every man worth his salt (and who owns a TM) owns a drill. Not everybody owns a welder.

True on the drill but muffler shops can be had for cheap or beer,

    This isn't a stock hole-

It is on mine. I just went out and checked because it's hard to tell in the picture. It's got factory paint on and inside the hole where the drill bit marks would be.
