    Anyone bringing wife & kids?

I was talking to my wife about coming with me to SDAC this year and she's afraid she'll be bored and have trouble entertaining our 18 mo old. So my question is, Anyone bringing wife & kids?

    Thanks

Re: Anyone bringing wife & kids?

We have quite a few folks that bring their 'other halfs', and some bring kids too (16 yrs old & under attend for free).

In the goody bags will be a listing of alternate events in the area for folks that don't have interest in the car centered activities.

I will be bringing my fiancee for the second time this year. Okay she was just my girlfriend last year at SDAC but even after all the crazyness and having to spend her birthday at the Viper Plant she still agreed to marry me!

Yes, the SDAC events are family friendly!

Out of the 50 or so pre-registrations I've received, I have 11 for couples. So that would say roughly 20% or 1 in 5 folks bring their wives or GF's.

My wife will be there. Our 3 year old son might be there, might not. We are only an hour from grandma house, so I expect he will spend some time there. He has basically been to every SDAC since he was born. (which means he has been to 2) and my wife has been to ever SDAC since we started going at 13 or 14

My wife and kids will be in town too! Don't think they will come to any events. The two best spots for kids near the hotel is #1 Newport aquarium and #2 union terminal childrens musem. Also you would want to check out johnny's toys in nky. I would have to look up the address but it a huge toy store with a chucky cheese type place inside. The wifes might like the mall a few exits down or hit the ikea that's just north of cincinnati. If anyone was going to autox there is a really nice park near there (Sharon woods), with a bike/walk path, lake with paddle boats, kids water fun area, and a golf course.

Clay is bringing more than just his family, he's bringing.... THE LUGGAGE! Notice the smiles he's bringing to everyone he passes by.

Bringing my GF again. She'll probably want to watch/playn with your child. She's a early childhood education major/nanny/daycare type of person. Last year she was entertained by a Pitbull that was up for sale. I'm not comparing your kid to a dog... but she'd enjoy watching children.

Re: Anyone bringing wife & kids?

We didn't end up bringing it home. Our living arrangements had no space for him (Rampage). He kicked a$$ though. Still with same GF. She's excited about SDAC also!
Thanks for the compliment on the car. I'm fixing it now. Tranny problems. either clutch, or worn internals (spider gear) from driving 4000 miles with unequally centered driveshafts. idk yet.

Oh man!! Who did he go to then!? I was so close to getting him. We have a black and white one that wandered onto our property that we love. A little brother would have been cool, but seems as though I asked the wife about it and she said no.

Well hope the car is there again. It's so clean and pretty to look at.

Yours looks pretty sick too! Did you do Koni coilovers? I wish my GLHT were that low.
I don't know who Rampage went to. Hopefully a good home. I know one of the drivers of the Maroon SCs from Canada was interested too.
