Lots of ways to keep your trailers safe Mike.

Get a lock for the tounge
    Chain the two trailers together
Chain the trailers to an inflatable palm tree
Park someone else's tow vehicle in front of them

    Re: SDAC FAQs

I have a wheel lock (kind of like a wheel boot but for a trailer) that I got my my trailer after it was "borrowed" a couple years ago when I left it in front of the storage garage I was renting. It was gone for about three months before it was "found" in a church parking lot a block or so away. I don't fear it getting taken from my driveway but if I have to leave it somewhere else not connected to my truck, I bolt on the wheel lock. The only way to take it would be to lift the whole trailer and flat tow it or with a torch.

I would think we would have plenty of vehicles to park in the way to keep them from going anywhere. Also that hotel has a very nice set up and the parking we have is in the back and pretty secure.

I hear ya. Im not worried about night time so much as I am worried about times when practically nobody will be around, like during Ken's Party, Karting, or the Road Rally.

I'll look into some quality locks. Thanks all!

Dual axle trailer? Just run a chain with a lock thru the two tires on one side.

Park a Durango in front of it or take a Durango instead of the tow vehicle...

Hell Mike, just promise more beer to one of guys you find face down in the parking lot or grass when you leave and it'll be ok.

Since this is an FAQ page, can anyone tell me what smokes are going for down there? We had three tax hikes on them up here in the last year, so hoping I can get a better deal. (Specifically, Camels)

"The sole condition which is required in order to succeed in centralizing the supreme power in a democratic community, is to love equality, or to get men to believe you love it. Thus the science of despotism, which was once so complex is simplified, and reduced . . . . to a single principle."

"One of the methods used by statists to destroy capitalism consists in establishing controls that tie a given industry hand and foot, making it unable to solve its problems, then declaring that freedom has failed and stronger controls are necessary."

"To evolve, you don't need a Constitution. All you need is a legislature and a ballot box . . . . things will evolve as much as you want. All of these changes can come about democratically; you don't need a Constitution to do that and it's not the function of a Constitution to do that."

I have a very health respect for that thing after last year. I could hardly get the thing to slide, but I ended up with some pretty good bruises on my inner thighs from the handlebars.

What time do the "car show gates" open on Sunday? I'm driving
over that morning and I'm trying to figure what time I have
to roll out of the rack.

    Thanks

If you get there about 9am you'll be doing fine. The gates may open a little earlier, but we will doing prep work and not ready to let folks in until about 9am.

What's the deadline for online pre-registration? I still don't know if I'm going to drag race yet, it will depend on if I can actually get the car fixed this Saturday.

Off the top of my head I think I put in the newsletter that online pre-reg closes on the 23rd. Of course folks can still register once they get on site also. It's only a $5 difference in the fees for on-site vs pre-reg.

    Hope you can make it.
