The rally is still a little up in the air. But since it will be Monday before drag racing, we will probably end up back at the motel. The schedule for it will be tight that day.

You did realize someone from KY invented the tooth brush, if it were invented anywhere else it would've been a teeth brush.

yeah, but they also make some good whiskeys and bourbons..... so I wont hold that agin' them to much

It's not too far from Ken's place so maybe a run there for dinner Friday night??? (If I remember correctly, it's on the river between Ken's and Reeves' place, but closer to Ken's.) I believe the Rallye we have planned is the same one as SDAC-15 but ending back at the hotel so maybe it wouldn't be a stretch to stop in there for a bite to eat for lunch on Monday either!

From host hotel go north on Buttermilk Pk, take I-75 south to I-275. Go east on 275 to exit 72, US-52. Left (NW) on US-52 for 2.7 miles.

Now finding time in the schedule to go there ...

We are not ending the rally there on Monday as we did in 2005, since I want to discourage any drinking of alcoholic beverages before we go drag racing that afternoon.

We have more than a couple of river boat restaraunts/ cafes to choose from. I'll look into the waterfront dining scene. Those places tend to appear then disappear frenquently.
Friday& Saturdays they're full of "Jimmy Buffet wannabe's and drunken disco-daddy's".

Park a Durango in front of it or take a Durango instead of the tow vehicle...

just make sure there are no teenage girls backing up the chevy right gary

Yeah, any new drivers please stay away from the Durango, if you do hit it and are cute please be older than 16

For "Fine Dining" on the waterfront try Mike Finks,The Charthouse, both KY side. Or the Montgomery Inn "Boathouse" OH side.
Casual dining: on the KY,riverside theres Don Pablos,Joes Crab shack( with a TM connection, ask R/T),Buckhead MTN grill, or Hooters.
Also "Newport on the levee" offers several river front restaurants.
Just off the river is "The Hoffbrau haus "Schnitzels& BEER!

OR you could enjoy your official SDAC banquet meal, sunday evening, served on the terrace at Fernbank park! I'm sure Barry could arrange "something" for you.
