Front k frame tie bar clearance and motor deflection questions.

Built this cross brace to help tie things together and didn't seem to give myself enough Clearance for the engine to rock back and forth. Right now the cross bar is welded flat to the bottom and I have about a quarter inch of gap between the trans diff area and the bar. My question is how much room should I allow myself for deflection between the trans and crossbar if I plan on running all poly mounts. Kind of a vague question but some input would help thanks guys

With the solid rear bobble strut I built for my engines seen here: http://www.pnw-sdac.org/gallery/v/Me...5_001.jpg.html

the engine moves maybe 1/4" total at WOT. I have the MP pass side and a PB front and a stock tranny drivers side. Basically the motor lifts up but it's not much. You should be ok.

Nice Piece I plan on doing something similar and also adding one to the backside just to brace up the chassis in that area as well.

There is no logical reason to call an Engine a motor.
