Thanks! It's simple but should work just fine.

Wow, I guess Mr Gasket uses the same fan as Perma Cool.

You fan is a dead ringer for my Perma Cool show in this thread.

Made a shroud from flat 16 gauge and cut out the opening for the 14" Mr. Gasket fan. (p/n 1987, 1800 cfm)

Well not a dead ringer, but close. Fan motor is quite different looking.

That looks good! I am doing something very similar but im gonna make the shroud so it sits about a 1/2" from the core and i'll bend the edges of the shroud in my sheet metal break... are you worried about the shroud blocking off the core a bit from being so close?

I got my parts in the Mail today, thanks Chris! This Radiator looks awesome! I'll post up some pics when i get it installed in my 89 Daytona... it might not be till spring time tho.

It's hard to tell in the 2 pictures, but the shroud doesn't actually sit right on the core. The shroud edges are on the end tank welds. Anyway, I'm not concerned as there should be plenty of airflow through the radiator when the fan isn't running. The fan takes up quite a bit of core area.

Here is the shroud i started on for the radiator... tomorrow i'm going to get a flex-a-lite fan and i'll finish it off. I still have to drill the holes to mount it, bevel the edges and weld the corners.

    It's made from 1/16" aluminum

Yeah that looks great! I like it. You could probably sell a few to those that are running aftermarket fans. Paint it all black?

I was in for the 1st run, but was cash poor when they became available... I'm hoping I'll be able to get in on a second run...

Re: Three core radiators in stock configurations...

I NEED one of these radiators for my 91 R/T. I finally bought a cooling system pressure tester and my stock radiator is weeping at the end tank on the driver's side. Price isn't a major consideration, so I'd buy one for my R/T and one for my 86 GLHS if it would mean I could get my R/T on the road sooner than later!
