    Turbo choice advice

So Ive been collecting parts for me recent upgrade and I cam across a nice low miles turbo for sale... The guy selling it sais it is .63 a/r ratio turbine housing with a larger stage 2 turbine wheel & with the 46 trim compressor wheel!

    My setup is:
    2.5L
    stock head/cams
    ported exhaust manifold
    slightly ported 2-piece intake
    full 2.5" exhaust
    +20's
    custom computer
    5-speed

I can get a real good deal on this turbo... How well do you guys think it would work on a set up like mine?

It will be a fun turbo, that will make some good power and won't be laggy.

    Is it T4 compressor cover?

That's a Turbo II (T03) compressor cover, but should still work OK. What intercooler you running?

Its a Treadstone TRV125. Same side inlet outlet 12.5"x6"x3.5" core. Supposed to be fairly efficient

From researching it sounds like an enforcer 2 turbo... Does that sound right?

I run the 46 trim with a stage 1 wheel and .63 housing in 2 of my 2.5's. I like the turbo. It is more laggy than a stock garrett or mitsu but not bad at all. I feel it is a good turbo for a 2.5. Go for it

    Re: Turbo choice advice

I have run the same turbo on both a 2.2 and 2.5. I don't really care for it compared to a hybrid 50 trim with the proper E cover. If you can get it for really cheap it might be the way to go though.

    Re: Turbo choice advice

Whats your setup and how did it spool? I can get it for like 300 shipped which seems like a pretty good deal... I would prefer a super 60 or stock turbo with a .63 A/R but I cant find one within my budget

    Re: Turbo choice advice

It would give me all the boost I wanted in the omni at a little over 4200RPM. In my shadow with the 2.5 it was a few hundred RPMs quicker. I'm sure I could have gotten a faster spool with the cal in the shadow, but I'm not really worried about it anymore. For $300 it would be hard to go wrong.
