WOOHOO I'M IN DA CLUB!
My first pass i wanted to make sure that the breakup issue I had last time out was cured.
Made a nice easy launch and layed into it in 2nd and 3rd. No nitrous No breakup at all! She's fixed!
So the next runs i made were on the smaller nitrous jets. I had a real problem getting her to launch, but I did end up running an 11.24 @ 124 with a 1.8x 60ft and a 11.11 @ 123 with a 1.7x 60 ft.
On the last run I took the slick pressure down a bit, swapped in the bigger n20 jets and tried the old burnout method that had gotten me some previous bests. Drive around the water, do a little dry hop. Then up to the line.
It worked. 1.68 60 ft time. Still not my best ever, but pretty good! The whole run felt awesome. But I didn't know how awesome until I picked up te slip. Just as I read it my brother called my cell phone which was sitting in the passenger seat. I was yelling but couldn't hear a word he said because i still had my helmet on.
