Well i am going to be changing the suspension for a little bit stiffer ride.
I am kinda leaning to get the konis because i can adjust the stiffness on it and all But what about the springs are they special for the vans Or can i use a set of shelby springs off a g body and i will be set
for the rear i still dont know what im gonna do for shocks the rear leaf springs i think im gonna take them out add new bushings and then have them checked for rate and might add a leaf
Shelby springs, or any lowering springs, are going to make the van ride too low. Your best bet for stiffness, whether you are using car or van struts, is to get some heavy duty replacement front springs from moog or whoever sells such a thing, and cut them til you get your desired right height.
I think turbovanman has some kinda hd springs and konis on the front of his.. maybe he'll chime in.
Personally, i think the ride is super important in a van and id use stock springs with konis and a big swaybar. but im also weird.
i was thinking of the same thing konis with stock springs and a fat swaybar
