    WTB: Shelby Dakota

Looking for a STRONG running Shelby Dakota that isn't leaking or smoking anything. Body / paint can be rough.

Let me know what you have or have stumbled into.

    Thanks!!!

Maybe I should have said "a little rough." That one is a bit too much for my auto body skills but that $600 price tag is tempting.

Thanks for the leads, keep 'em coming. Still refusing to buy an El Camino but have a line on a Choo Choo conversion.

would prefer a Dakota because I'm going to haul some tools around, along with a ladder while I work on the body (the reason why a slightly rough body is fine with me).

shoot me pics of your rampage if you have any. messina57@comcast.net

    Re: WTB: Shelby Dakota

Nope ALL shelby dakotas got that interior and it started out red from the factory, but most have sun faded by now. For some reason these trucks sell pretty high. I guess its cause they have a frame and a V8.

    Re: WTB: Shelby Dakota

    Ive always liked them
but i think it would be much cooler to get a black interior from another Dakota and change it all but add the Shelby badges to it and redo the seats with black where the red is and keep the Shelby pattern in there

Recaros from a CSX that well was beyond repair(that would be evil to rob them from a nice or decent one) would be sweet addition. I'm with you on the black interior. Like a black with grey would be sharp. Heck a black shelby dak even.. That white one that I found that was rough I wouldn't of been saddened to recolor.

Thanks for the leads guys. Some nice trucks there. A little too much $$$ for me now but if one pops up needing a LITTLE body work and paint, still want one.

yeah that would be really cool the only problem is the shelby decals
if there flat black then they would show up on gloss paint
but not as much as they do on white
I'm really thinking about getting that rusted out one that's real close to me and fixing it up
