Simon if you have time before the next Friday night races , see if you can make a a deep trans pan out of 2 pans , cut the bottom out of one , and the lip off the other ,weld them together , make a drop down block for the filter .
it will help a lot with the flash temps

And over the winter make deep pan out of 1/4" plate steel to act like a girdle to help with case flex.
The same can be done for the diff cover

Yeah, I am going to do a KC article on A413's so all the info is in one spot.

I won't make this Friday, the 29th but will the next one. I have a huge tranny cooler now, it holds aprox 4 litres so that should help immensly. I'll take pics when its done,

That cooler you have will do the trick. That and making a thicker pan to help with case flex just might make it survive.....even you!!!!!

When and if I get the planetary's done, that will be it, and maybe a billet output shaft,

Re: I am going to rollerize my A413.

I know this thread is 15 years old but I'm looking for part numbers for the torringtons used to do this. I contacted TCS they no longer make the parts. Any help appreciated.

I just got the forward drum backing plate from him. I don't see the planetaries on his site. I'll send him an email and ask. Thanks.
