    WTB: Built Shortblock

I'm looking for a built shortblock 2.2 or 2.5. Not overly fussy, only going to be running ~15 psi. I thought I'd see if anyone had anything available before I dumped a bunch of money into machine work on another block. I'm located in NS, Canada, but I can arrange pickup pretty well anywhere if the engine is on a pallet or in a crate. Looking to keep it under $2k, but depending on what you got.... thanks,
    william

    Re: WTB: Built Shortblock

Everyone's a comedian eh? I've got my eye on the vendors too, I just wanted to check and see if there were any out there sitting in garages. I've seen some real deals in the past on motors for sale privately, just never when I need one. Anyone ever compare buying a shortblock from a vendor vs building yourself? At a glance it looks like I could get an assembled short block from FWD or TU for what it would cost just for machine work and a few of the parts here locally, never mind the assembly.

Being in Canada, I could build you something and shipping would be cheaper too. If your interested, drop me a PM and I could price something out.

Ive got a rebuilt 2.5, has New head on it. Rebuilt TII turbo, +20s, stainless braided turbo lines. It probably doesnt have more than 100 miles on it. It is assembled ready to drop in and go. $500 +shipping would buy it.
