    stock swaybar modifications

so i have been looking at my swaybar and have been looking at the poly bushings swaybar and sifting ideas through my demted head so here is my idea i want to use rod ends on the end of the swaybar instead of the rubber bushings with shaft collars on either side of the rod end to keep it where i want it. has anyone here done this to know if the shaft collars will hold the rod end in place or is this not sufficiant enough

here is a link to the parts im looking at buying

    http://www.mcmaster.com/#shaft-collars/=1psg7q

the next question is what should i use for the threaded shaft end where it would mount to the a-arm should i use a spherical bearing there or not?

That's a smokin huge rod end for the job it needs to do. Just the ends alone are costing you close to $140 when you could do 1/2"ers for less than $40 and a couple drill bits. I think you will also run into issues with the overall size of them and the bushings and hardware needed to attach them to the sway bar. My .02
