4-wire O2 sensor upgrade: where to pull 12V source?

Well, one part of my TII conversion for my GLHT is to upgrade the O2 sensor. Before I whip out the FSM and start looking at the wiring, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should pull my 12 volts for the heater on the O2 sensor?

I know it needs to be a key-on source, but I figure others have already done it, why reinvent the wheel.

    thanks!

Ok, I hate to answer my own threads, but hey, this could help someone!

First, thanks to Mike Fisher and Greg Cooper on the Team Omni mailing list!!

    You have 2 options:

Option 1: The factory Shelby L-body cars drew their power from the solenoid power supply wire. Its a blue wire that feeds all the solenoids on the pass shock tower. This is how the Shelby supplemental manual shows it.

Option 2: The factory Dodge cars used the Z1 circuit which feeds the injectors. This is a dark green wire with a black trace that is in the group of wires that plug into the injector harness.

Both options put power on only with the key on, so they both work great! I chose option 2 simply because thats the way the factory did it, and the wire was a much bigger gauge.
