    GM Part Info Needed

    Hey all.

I am looking for information reguarding the cooling system pressure cap for a 1996 Chevy Beretta 3.1. Specifically I am looking for the GM replacement number and pressure rating for this item.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Will talk to my parts Dept tomorrow Mike.

Oh yeah, I examined my boost controller too see if the vent orifice was ok. Guess what? It wasn't even there! I totally forgot that the nipple had broken off and I put a new one in it's place. Never drilled it. So I tee'd in a vacuum orifice and PREST-O CHANGE-O!! Thanks for the assist!!

Most of the 60* V6 GMs I've had anything to do with from late 80s early 90s have had a 14psi one on.

Mike, They run a 15 psi cap. The cap is rated for operation between 14-18 psi. Here is the part you want in the pic.
