Talking Lexus looking at the Spirit's tail lights

Well it was an older Lexus. The dude said it had a 3.2 in it. Can anybody get me some more info. on this?

Anyways, coming up to a red light doing 50mph, he's in the fast lane and I'm in the slow. The lanes travel down to 1, so I figure he's moving along fairly steadily, I'll just keep up the pressure on him. hehe

The light blinks green, he immediately downshifts and gets a length on me. Oh no sir, this jolly-a$$, 18psi having Spirit aint going down like that! Plop, 2nd gear - 18psi! haha

I start to pull him right on in. As soon as I whip back 3rd I begin getting in front and proceed to put distances on him. After I shut it down I had about 4 lenghts on him.

He didn't do too bad. 2 kids driving it, he said it had "shifter" problems. Yah it's got power problems, but okay.

Oh but here's the shocking question of the night that we all get asked: "You got a turbo in that thing?!"

Another expensive egotistical a$$hat goes down to Grandma's car.

"An older Lexus"... Need some more info then that. SC, ES, LS, GS?
Was it a Coupe or 4-door?
    Coupe:
    SC300 3.0L I-6
    SC400 4.0 V8

    4-door:
ES300 had the same motor as a Toyota Camery 3.0L V6.
GS300 had a similar engine to the Supra N/A of course, 3.0L I-6.
    GS400 4.0L V8
    LS400 I believe had a 4.0L V8.

Couldn't find an "older Lexus" with a 3.2L motor.

    Good kill anyway

Ummm well ACTUALLY it broke that night. I raced him like around midnight, come home, go to bed. Wake up to my dad screaming like a he got raped by an ape about how much oil was on the driveway. That was Tuesday night, I'll have it back together tomorrow for sure.

The minivan - yah I bought the Spirit back a few months ago because the dousche bag who bought it let it sit and rot in the woods; I had to buy it back. So I surrendered the van to get the Spirit. That's what happened.

Has to be an SC then. The SC400 is a quick car. The SC300 can be had with a stick and takes very well to a turbo

SC300 is popular for the supra conversion. The SC400 V8 is a quick and fun car. Both come in 2 doors.

Actually this had been the 2nd Lexus I had dusted. The first one being an IS300. Same motor I believe?

Re: Lexus looking at the Spirit's tail lights

IS300 is a newer SC300 pretty much. Both had the I-6 3.0 engine that is popular on the sequential turbo supra.
