UH OH, ball bearings jammed in to timing belt cover and timing belt loose!!!!
I need to get this completed today!
What's the best tensioner to get??? Will the tensioner from a late SRT4 work? Anyone know the NAPA part number?
Thanks,
Guy

Hey Guy,
I Don't have the part # handy, but I'd reccomend getting the NAPA Timing belt "Kit" Which comes with a belt and a new tensioner pulley. The tensioner itself is likely fine. Just need to replace the exploded pulley and belt. I feel like it was reasonably priced around $80-100 for a SOHC.
Dave,
Thanks for the reply.
Both the tensioner pulley and idler pulley exploded!!!!
Thanks, for the parts dinosaur tip. No parts store has the mechanical tensioner locally. The parts are on the way, along with the Gates racing belt.
BTW, it's a DOHC so 8500 rpm here we come =)!!!!
