After about 2 years I finely pulled the diff cover on the 568 I got to replace my damaged one. The inside is clean and feels fine moving through the gears,But on the magnet was a shim that was broken into three pieces. It is the same size of the carrier stub ( If I lay the pieces on the stub so it's not big enough to be a carrier shim)that the Bering is pressed on & about .020 thick. Any clue where it came from? This is the first one I've opened up to look at.
