What slicks to run on SC?

I was wandering what size slicks I should run on my charger. Struts/spindles are bone stock. No lowering. Trans axle is a 520/555 hybrid, and the engine is going to be well built pushing 30PSI if that helps anything.

23"x7.5" slicks are probably the largest you can run without modifying the fender extensions. The outside edge of my 23" slicks barely touch the fender extensions. However, they don't rub the tranny no more than street tires do. 24.5's rub the fender extensions pretty bad from what I've seen.

    24.5 x 8 x 15 on my 2 dr L
running spacers....5/16" approx with extended wheel studs

my slicks DONT rub the fender extensions.

low 1.7 60' times manually launching the car...if i had a 2 step rev limiter i know i could shave another tenth off easily, drop clutch and got @ WOT

id say go with 23s since you have the hybrid trans with suuuper long gears, but considering my buddy is making enuff power in his 568/523 P body to spin them tires with the long gear and slicks you might want to thing about stepping up to a bigger slick if your intending on making some real power

    # M&H Racemaster Drag Slicks 23.0'' x 7.5'' - 15''
    # HB-11 Compound
    More info on M&H MHR-21

Seem like a good place to start. Jegs has them for $156 but I haven't shopped around much.

It looks like everyone skips the tubes so a set is a little over $300...

Re: What slicks to run on SC?

my buddy in town has 26" slicks on his car. not sure what he did. i think he has coilover, and hubcentric wheel spacers

i couldnt imagine the turning radius on a L body with 26" slick up front
