    having high idle issues

    okay i have a 88 chrysler lebaron turbo 2.5 TII. i just dropped my new engine in and getting things situated. the car runs but it has a very high idle. symptoms are 2,500 - 3,000 rpm idle (No vacuum leak), can't give it gas or it'll die's, spark plugs 1 and 4 black up like rich not oil. but know check engine light or limp mode.

    sounds like ias, not sure about 1 and4 plugs thoe.

    do you have an a/f gauge to look at?

    i had this issue before. the wires going to the ias motor. there is a broke wire in the loom were it was sodiered from factory..Check that..call if need help
