    Turbo-Firewall clearance in a Tona.

I about 90% done with my setup, and It looks to me like the firewall clearance might be tight. Im hoping to not have to beat in the firewall. By looking at these pictures do you guys think there will be clearance insues?? Pictures of on stand projects might help too.

I have a baron with a tbi manifold and I'm pretty sure its almost the same length away from the firewall. make sure to have poly or solid engine mounts, and before I beat my fire wall I used to have to put a thick heat shield between the turbo and firewall just so it wouldnt vibrate so bad. maybe it was a 1/8'' away? it was pretty tight. might have to use the BFH! but actually beating in the firewall is pretty easy once you get it started...

oh yeah, come to think of it, it was the wastegate that gave me the most trouble, you might have to make a new bracket for it

Actually the wastegate sits about 2 inches more toward the engine than the turbo.

What does that mean? They are all the same setup, just different picture angles. Lol.

I'm going to vote BFH time. I thought mine was going to clear, but I had to beat the firewall in a good 3 inches in my Reliant.
