Jon Kasing's BBQ Bonfire will be held on May 30 this year. He will be jumping in to throw a post up in this thread pertaining to what time folks should arrive as well as what he'd like people to contribute in terms of food, drinks, anything like that.
Ill try and make the BBQ but Saturdays are tough to do with work.Ill deffinately be at the Chrysler Classic and Tuner Thrash.Gives me good reason to try and break the van.Originally Posted by DC Turismo

I am looking to start it at around 5:00pm. Earlier arrivals are welcome. I plan on providing burgers, dogs, & beans. So if anyone wanted to bring beverages, plates, napkins, chips, desert or any kind of side dish that would be greatly appreciated.

From south:
-Take I-79 north to Zelienople/Harmony historic district exit
-Make a left off of exit onto Rt. 68
-Follow Rt. 68 to the first red light (Main St. Zelienople/ Rt. 19)
-Make a right at the light onto Rt. 19 north
-Follow Rt. 19 for a couple of miles until you get to Scott Ridge Rd. (On the left is a sign for Strawberry Ridge golf course)
-Make a left on to Scott Ridge Road & follow it for a couple of miles.
-The drive way is the first one on the right past the golf course entrance ( the house is a brick ranch style w/ two steel buildings & an Amish barn behind it)
-Follow the drive way until you get to the barn
From north:
-Take I-79 south to Zelienople exit.
-Make a right onto Little Creek Rd.
-Follow for a half mile & turn right onto Mercer Rd. (there is a Brusters where you turn)
-Follow until the stop sign (Rt. 19)
-Make right onto 19 & follow about a ¼ mile to Scott Ridge Rd. (On the left is a sign for Strawberry Ridge golf course)
-Make a left on to Scott Ridge Road & follow it for a couple of miles.
-The drive way is the first one on the right past the golf course entrance ( the house is a brick ranch style w/ two steel buildings & an Amish barn behind it)
-Follow the drive way until you get to the barn

As it stands right now there is no one attending other than myself & Sweeney. If there is no one else able to attend (would like to see 8 or more people) I may just cancel/ postpone this event to a latter date.
I can't make it out. Have tickets for Coldplay concert with girlfriend. Wish I could!

It appears that no one is able to attend so I am officially pulling the plug.
I believe the next event is Albion, PA on June 7th. I hope to be there!

Got back to your PM Dan. Computer broke so this is first time i've been on since the 31st. Can't get up to Albion. Sorry It's a real nice event though for anyone planning on getting up there for it!
Thought I'd jump on Pat's computer real quick and find out how was Albion Dan, better judging than last year? lol....
The same judge this year. He was anal, but not as badly cause it rained on and off from 9-11:30. I did fix some of those "deficiencies" he pointed out last year. I think that helped. When awarded my plaque, he walked up to me and said, "Don't forget that I'm about the most difficult judge here." I already knew that and told him "I'll see you next year"

So who's going to the Chrysler Classic at PRP? Ill be there Sat and Sunday. Cant decide to bring the truck or the van yet though.
When is it? I think thats when sdac in cincy is. A lot of us are going to sdac.

nope. PRP is Father's Day weekend.
I'd like to make it out for a day. I've never been there before. Hopefully, I'll have my car fixed by then. Otherwise I won't be able to make it.
