Cuda is being worked on at The Rod Shop
Took these pics this morning
Rear quarter skins will be hung this week
sweet cuda, i wish my cuda was that far
Sweet. What engine used to be in it?
Looks good. How long do you estimate the build to take?
Thanks 89csx10
I just got back from the Phoenix area (vacation) and plan on visiting
the paint and body shop very soon. It should be a lot farther along than
when I left on the 7th.
After the body work and paint it goes to the speed shop where my engine is
waiting. Brad will install the engine and tranny and the torsion bars. He will
also set up the 8-3/4 with some 3.55's
After he's done it comes home for the complete assembly of the body
and interior parts. Glad my new garage is heated, cause I'll need it.
I would guess I should be done by spring of 2010
I also have a 360 I need to start building.Mine will be lowbuck at its best. Its a well seasoned 78 block 130+k on it.Im just doing a basic mild short block 9.5 cast pistons,a good set of rings. The luanati cam Ive had for years,Self ported J heads(Used a old DC template kit) The LD340 Edelbrock I have or the old torker.Ill be happy if it runs 13's.It went 14.2's with the 130k short block, blowing oil everywhere.
Thanks for the pics.It deffinately motivates me to get mine rolling again!
Went to the body shop today
Quarters are on, rust has been taken care of
More progress...pics from today.
First coat of primer is on
Beautiful Black paint should be on the end of next week.
Just curious on why you went with dished pistons?
Do you plan on adding a supercharger in the future?
Did that to make sure it would run on 87 octane. While on the
2007 Hot Rod Power Tour in the Red Daytona Shelby Z some
of the gas stations were sold out of premium fuel because of
all of the cars on the tour. I decided then to set it up for
regular fuel. And like you said, a Pro Charger could be added
at any time.
