I normally don't do things like this (ask my kids, I'm sure they will lie for me), but....Monday evening, I had picked up the rebuilt loaded calipers for the truck and was headed East on Mercury Blvd. (US 258) in Hampton. I was at the Martha Lee drive light in the left lane and started away from the light at a reasonable, sane pace when a 94-03 vintage Mustang GT in the right lane (there was an Explorer between us) suddenly stood on it. I looked over and there was a young guy, late teens to early 20s driving it. He was looking at the LeBaron like "I'll show you" so I stomped it. From about a 20-25 mph roll, I got 14 psi in first instantly. I only held it till we were approaching stopped traffic at Big Bethel Road, but by then I had, from being 1/2 length back on him gone to 1 length in front. I held up 4 fingers to let him know he had been beat by a 4 cyl. Never got out of 1st, and only hit about 51 mph.
