    Wheel/Tire Fitment Question

    I found a set of 15 x 8 Rota Slipstreams locally. They have a 40mm offset.

Wondering if these would work with my Spirit and a set of M&H 8.5/23.0-15 slicks i can get cheap.

They would be track only, obviously, so as long as they would fit without any hitting of struts or fenders I am gonna get them. (Rubbing on turns does not really concern me as I would just have to be careful getting on and off the track.)

I don't know anything about wheel sizes on our cars, so some feedback would be helpful.

    Thanks

You're going to need atleast a 5 mm spacer and probably long wheel studs. Would be a nice combo though.

Yeah, an 8" wheel is going to rub without spacers.

    Re: Wheel/Tire Fitment Question

8" wheels will fit without spacers it's just that the ones he has have a 40 offset, 35 will fit with those tires. If he asked about the 24.5 slicks I'd recommend an 8 mm spacer.
