    wow....
You dare mock the gods like that? Whichever one you pick is going to run fine.... till we hit the mountain..

I may ride with Steve in the helicopter.

    But seriously,
Anyone going to motel it at the base of the mountain on the 15 side? I meant to book it last month but then, I didn't.

Google maps has a pretty good picture of where'd we have to lock the hubs on the scamp. Haven't figured out how to save a picture when you move the map to a specific point with out using the address.

    OK - here are maps.

The MB2 indoor Kart track is reserved @1:00 pm Saturday May 23.
Karting is $45 which gets you a 9 lap practice, a 14 lap qualifier, and a 16 lap grid start main. Fastest qualifiers start in front of grid.

I reserved for 10 drivers. Closed toe shoes and full face shielded helmets required. Bring your own or wear one of theirs. It will take about 1.5 hours. We can add more than the 10 drivers, if I get RSVPs for more. I'm betting that there will be way more than 10, so let me know ASAP - make sure you get a spot.

Afterward, Burgers & Beer. Car Show too, so spiff em up. Parking on the lawn. If you wanna pass on the karts, just arrive at 3:00

Bring whatever you please to help fill the table & bar, I'm providing the beef and beer. Folks on bikes bring nothing. Bike guys who want to bring their cars - go for it. Non TMs are welcome.

Girlfriends and wives are especially welcome. Please bring the ladies.

    Dogs too. (no I do not mean that! . . . .)

Yep, he's for real, he is however pulling your leg about the chopper. He wants to try and make it thru the mountains at 8/10ths speed without a breakdown just like the rest of us

RSVP for the kart spots and you lock up em in - give me a head count. When it goes over 10, I will go up there and try to add more spots/time.

Rosie, I keep googling Angeles Crest Highway and nada. Yeah, see if you can call/connect with Cal Trans cause they're not issuing press releases or doing anything that is hitting the web. Thanks for handling that, I got enough to do . ..

Count me in for the Karts.
    Sounds like a blast.
I only trust the midgets as far as I can throw them.
I've got to improve on my previous record of 14.7 feet.

This sounds like fun! I'm down for the karts! Only wish I had a helmet, the thought of who knows who has used theirs before and what bugs might be in it creeps me out a little. Looks like I will be bringing the Shleby Z or the Taurus SHO cause the pt is down as of this week....think the fuel pump took a dump or timing belt jumped, runs like ---- but no codes.

Must be going around, my PT's cam sensor took a turd on me Tuesday. Luckily I was getting gas 1/4 mile from my parents house and could limp it over there. Kinda glad it did though, I think it fixed my mystery leak which I thought could have been my cam seals.
