Black Seats For '86 Daytona Turbo Z

Just posting on here seeing if anyone knows or has a decent set of black leather or black cloth seats from an '84-'86 Daytona or Chrysler Laser. I have black leather ones and am missing the back seat entirely in my '86. My front ones could maybe be redone but I am trying to find a decent set of originals if anyone has any left. I would actually buy an entire T1/automatic Daytona/Laser if I could find one I want out there. Any leads or help finding anything would be appreciated. PM me or reply here if any of you have anything somewhat close to eastern VA.

I have a decent set. They are not in like new condition. They are also not junk. Without finding a low mileage survivor you would have a tough time finding a nicer set. They are full power mark cross seats. I had them in my 87 shelby Z but took them out in favor of 9o on up seat. If interested PM me.

Mine is totally missing the back seat. Might need it if I don't find anything else. I may have to have my front ones redone if nothing turns up. Still have a few leads though I'm working on.

I have a black leather passenger side. no worn spots or tears. just needs a little conditioner to soften it up some more.

They must be 84 - 86 seats because I don't think you could get a black interior in 87.

Yup. They were the hand pump style. I converted the drivers seat over to full power of the 87 seat, which I think makes it the same as 86????? Anywho they were out of a first gen 84-86 daytona. i will get pics this weekend.

I have seen 2 or 3 86 Daytona's with black leather and have the electric controls like the 87. One of these was in the guys family since new and he said it came that way. So there may be a few black 86 seats with electric controls in the bolster.

pretty sure any daytona seat will work in any daytona

Seat tracks from the earlier ones will not work in the later ones.
And the front seat tracks from the '92-'93 are I think different.
Some mods will have to be made to do it but it can be done.

I've just listed an '86 Turbo Z for parts. It has a black leather interior. I think the door panels might be sold, but not the seats. The pass seat is fair but the driver's has a hole. Back seats are fine. I have a second set of front leather seats from my old '84 Laser that are in pretty decent shape though. I was thinking of using them in my '93 in place of the grey cloth, but I'm not gonna mess with any mods.

If you know where I can get a good leather interior for my '93, preferably grey and power, maybe we can do some horse trading.

I have a nice set of black cloth seats from an '86 Turbo Z, both fronts and the back. I was going to use them in my '87, but they don't fit. I'd like to get $200 for the set, LMK if you are interested and I'll get some pics.

Still looking for a reasonably priced set of seats if any are out there. May just end up having mine redone.
