    fault code 31

Purge canister/EGR solenoid circuit is open or shorted does this affect drivablity, also have a strong smell of fuel while idling. While driving engine revs high but not much power, turbo boosts strong. fault code 26 has also showed up, pulled inj 2 plug, it and the injector were corroded, cleaned and greased code went away, but came back timing is set @ 15deg but idle is 1200 to 1300 RPM, if my timing marks line up does this mean my timing is fine or should i recheck belts and pullies. i dont know if the injector is bad and not delivering fuel. while driving it almost feels like the exhaust is pluged thats the best way i can discribe it

If the purge solenoid isnt working then eventually your charcoal canister (in the front pass wheel well) will eventually fill with fuel vapor from the fuel tank until it breaksthrough which is probably why you can smell fuel vapor when hanging around the car. Malfunctioning EGR could also lead to driveability issues.
