guy
I might have worded it wrong , looking to make a mould of the insides of intake runners . Im not casting them!
Thers only one way to get the mold out, cut apart the intake manifold. For a plug I would use wax for something like that as mentioned. I did a few T-bucket bodies, and the plugs where fiber glass but thats not possible with this. Maybe even do a thin layer of wax, and then strand filled concrete for strength. Whats the main purpuse of moulding the runners? That would designate what type of mould you would need. I could probally help more once I start taking some of the manufacturing engineering courses.
i was hoping for a rubber /silicon product to pour into to intakes then pop them out for a model of the runners for porting reasons.
Ask Warren what he uses.
