Long rod FTW!!! I remember mentioning this as the only way to attain crazy numbers and have your engine live to tell about it. Not that I know what I'm talking about, but that is freakin awesome.. Now I have to ask what crank are you using? I'm assuming(yeah I know) that you have a regular common block a 2.2 crank, longer rods to accommodate the 2.5 wrist pin location.. Is that about right.. So you have a much better rod ratio.

You got the right idea. I use a cast crank.

Yeah from what I have learned when you use nitrous with forced induction(turbo or supercharging) the effect is increased by a percentage. 140 or so with a 65 shot sounds about right. Now what kind of axles and trans on you running this insanity through?

Its called boost creep because your wastegate cant pass the extra nitrous exhaust.

3 more psi and a .040 jet. And cooler intake temps by far, makes for the power gain.

I feel so cheated. I only got about 30 hp from a 30 shot, lol. Of course, it was 40 degrees out with no bottle warmer, so bottle pressure may have been low.

Wow a hybrid getting all that power.. Now don't you sacrifice some strength versus a straight 555? This will be a true test of the OBX! I guess you slip the clutch a little on launches or don't use slicks cause otherwise I imagine those axles would be the first thing to give.

I think the tranny will hold it for a while. The obx should be fine to. The axles just need to be launched just right. Im running a 2step off the msd this year so that should help out. Also... I use M/T 24.5x8x15 slicks.....and just got 225/50/15 drag radials for street duty and dot tire events.

Did you ever get it to the track with the 535hp tune? If so, what was your highest mph?
