OK Bash is over, let's head back to Vegas!

After another Shelby Bash that allowed us to introduce the wonderful, wacky world of TDs to the unsuspecting-here is another chance...

The Mopower Cruise to "Mopars at the Strip". There are a number of organized drives that all head to the big event in Las Vegas at the end of March, but the big one starts in Scottsdale, Az and ends up in Vegas. Over 100 cars, no goofy pace car crap(like the Bash), support/coverage from a Mopar publication, sponsor provided goodies en route and some fantastic Mopars!

So far I've got pretty firm commitments from Alan, Todge, Dapomp and myself. Our plan is to have a support vehicle(like the Bash) to provide any needed assistance/towing.

I plan to drive the Vanishing Point Challenger, Todge will bring his road race Dart(featured in Hot Rod), Alan(?), Dapomp(CSX),etc. I will probably work out a deal to have my Terlingua GLHS on the drive, as well.

Let's get some more TDs out there-the cruise is free and from what I've heard the route is very scenic, the antics plentiful and the cars include Superbirds, Vipers, trucks, 'Cudas, Hemis, celebrities, customs,etc.

Clayon with a 12 sec K car usually comes and hopefully a few more

The group from AZ should be out in full force. My dad is flying in from the frozen tundra and we are driving my CSX-TIII (Dart Convertible is the backup). My brother-in-law is coming up with the 87 CSX I gave him and I may be able to talk Keith into driving my 89 CSX instead of riding with me. (AZ has the CSX angle covered, CA gets the L bodies). Chris is "supposed" to be driving his Shelby Charger (who knew he even owned a TD) Bill should have his restored "T" also. Any others? Chime in so we can include you in the roll call.
The Aliante is on the hotel list again, it would be cool to have a parking garage floor reserved again. Now only if we can get the rooms for sticker price instead of dealer markup...
