Is there really a difference between the two cables? I'm referring to the cable is attached to the rear disc/drum. Some manufactures list two different part numbers on rockauto. One part number for drum, one for disc.
I'm asking because I'm in the middle of converting my Shadow to 11in disc. It looks like the cable on the car will work just fine with the disc setup.
Anybody have an experience with converting shadow's to rear disc?

the springs are of different lengths.
it took 3 different sets from napa till I got the right ones.

Cut down the spring, thats what I did. Just be careful not to damage the cable and do it at the end so if you do, not a big deal.

It was taking too much time to get the ebrake cable hooked up. I said screw it and using the new disc parking brake cables.
