I finially got a few pictures of my 89 ES which is my daily driver. I picked up the van for $65 a 4 years ago, replaced a bad hall effect, gave it a good cleaning and ran it until it poped the head gasket 2 years ago. It had 160K on it so I pulled the engine and trans and installed another engine I was building and rebuilt the trans. The new engine is a 2.5 rwd comon block ( no balance shafts), 85 G-head with new exhaust valves and valves back cut, T2 rods, ARP fasteners, Wiseco Pistons, roller cam, TU SS header, T3/T4 46 trim Hybrid, dual exhaust, 40+ injectors, AFPR, Volvo cooler, 255 LPH pump, and custom cal. I also upgraded the brakes by switching to the larger bolt pattern. Since I am planning on spraying the van this spring I sprayed the engine compartment while the engine was out. I am painting the van Ford Dark Lapis blue with a few more grams of pearl. I will spray the bottom silver just like it is now. The only changes I made to the interior was a few more gauges and a new stereo.
