    Looks good.

We should expand it to talk about JIC compatibility and gas fitting incompatibility.

Also it is possible to use collars and a 37degree flare tool to connect to hard lines! I just got my flare tool from summit a few weeks ago for something like $37.

Good info. When I was doing AN fittings I used this tech section on Earls' site.

    http://www.anplumbing.com/tech.html

Everything you could ever want to know about doing AN fittings. They also recommend cutting the braided line with a sharp chisel on a block of alum. Some great how to vids on there as well.

Just tick off your wife/girlfriend/ho for the night and while they are running their yap, shove the hose in there and get a perfect cut each time!

Hey JT, a chisel and a BFH works great if you want to cut spiral wound steel cable too.

Nice job on the KC contribution.

I got everything done at a hydraulic place...37* JIC FTW with 2000 psi line

FYI...use a cold chisel, which has a proper taper for cutting metals and is hardened accordingly

    Re: AN Fitting 101!

but the rubber and hose clamp you trust? The rubber shrank on my feed line after just a year of use and the FI clamp lost some clamping pressure, it was leaking all over the exhaust manifold at idle. Scary thing is I did't find it till after a 19hr drive from here to SoCal. About 16hrs in at 3am in the middle of the dessert I was playing around with a heavily modded Datsun 510. Kept going very lean under boost so I backed out and just cruised to my location. Fired the car up after getting there to show my father and he saw it leaking fuel out the feed line! I could of been stranded in the dessert with a burned down car. I don't think there's a chance of that happening with the an setup.
