G body trim interchange ??

Anyone know if the 86 and 88 center stack trim pannels (on the left and right of the radio) are the same ?

I found an 86 laser/daytona the other day and the pannels look ok (not broken)
And even the same color.

Sorry to say but the center stack trim pannels are not the same from an 86 to 88 I bought the left one as it was in good shape. But found out that you need to cut a large part of it off that sits inside the dash.To make it fit,
