I was hoping someone still had that pic. It nearly started an online riot on the old board, lol. What ever happened to Alex anyway?

damn that is pitiful...

Pat, what kind of lift is that holding the Spirit up? Looks fairly compact.
I remember seeing those pics before and it's still pretty shocking even seeing them today. Quite the mangled mess. You should post the before pics to show the true extent of the carnage.
its on jack stands..

Pat,
How did the guy you sold the Spirit R/T to manage to wipe out both sides of the car at the same time? That's not easy to do, unless your trying to do that much damage to a vehicle.
Guy was lucky to survive the accident and survive the beating you deserved to give him. Like the Pharaohs said to Dreyfus (Curt) in American Graffiti, "lets tie him to the car, and drag him."

He lost it around a turn, went through (notice I said through) a few trees and two light poles while spinning up and down curbs. That car was mangled like no car I've ever seen...the roof was buckled, the floor boards were buckled/crushed, suspension crushed everywhere, it was crazy. Speed was definitely a factor.
It was sad for me since I built the car, but I ended up getting a pretty sweet deal getting it back to part it. I couldn't have paid for a tune up with what I paid to get the car back with the motor still intact.
GLHS #80 before it was scrapped (2nd rustiest p.o.s. I ever bought..)
A car that I came close to restoring. When I pulled back the carpet all there was was frame rail

this one has a happy ending. Had the front frame pulled and hung clean primered sheetmetal on it. Also installed an NOS quarter panel
