i have a 86 t1car, been siiting awhile, never seen much of a oil leak, replace a brake line today and went for a drive, brakes work great but now a huge oil pool in my drive, drivers side, appears to come from the breather box, does not look good, engine did not smoke or knock, just some spark knock, from old gas i assume, any help?
Not much else you can do but get under the car and look. Could be the rear main seal. Unbolt the little trans bell housing cover and see if thats where its coming from.
yeah, gonna do that but there is oil in the air filter breather, that's a seal unit except to the vavlve cover pvc, just thought someone had seen it before, thanks
Maybe try a compression check see what that tells you. Remember throttle needs to be wide opened. GL
