    where to get port bits

I have an assortment of different shapes and sizes, but need one with at least a 4-6 inch neck so that I can really get down in my intake, andy thoughts?

Most tool supply stores have them, also fastener stores like Brafasco. I've seen them in the air tool section of larger home improvement stores too. Best chances are tool stores.

I'll try to post the name of the outfit I bought some from at the PRI show in Orlando, pretty nice stuff and not too expensive. Nice that they have so many shapes and lengths to choose from.

I found 60 grit 1/2" sanding rolls most useful btw.

Goodson is the standard in the industry.

You can also get them through McMaster Carr.

Get the "egg" shape as that is what 99% of what porters get. Double cut will work on aluminum... but load up a tad if spinning it too fast. Single cut is too aggressive for the novice.

Standard Abrasives sells the sanding rolls.... might have the "bits" too.

Trying to find a place where I wont have to pay 50 for a bit that I will only use for one day. No luck so far.

    Here they are: http://www.buckeyecarbide.com/

I was impressed with the variety they had and the price wasn't anything outrageous.

Probably a little too late to be very helpful, but here's another source for porting burrs, etc.

I just went to a tool supply store and they had the same prices at that Online store posted for carbine bits. About 8 bucks a pop. Phone book ftw.

$6 for 10 roloc discs is a decent price too. I was at a store that begins with "L" and ends with an "S" and they want the same price for a 3 pack.
