Belt mouldings 89-90 Shadow

Some interest has been explored about reproducing these. The glass to door "fuzzies" that are attached to the mouldings. Yes im in contact with a company that shows interest!
Anyway, This is what they want from us...

The first thing we have to do, in order to determine if replicating a part
is feasible, is to have original samples to look over. We then research
the application spread on the individual parts to see how many vehicles it
will fit to see if the number of survivors will justify the cost of
tooling and production.

That being said, we would like to see some originals if you can scare some
up."

how serious are they? It would only fit 2-dr p-body cars right? Hasn't this already been tried?

The reason I asked is that I've got a set of brand new NOS ones for my car. I'm not prepared to ship them all over the place to potentially be lost, damaged or otherwise. PM me and I'll shoot you my number... we can chat about it.

I'd be interested, and remember, these were designed for the 87-90 P-bodies, yet they could be applied to the 91-94 applications as well even though the molding is wider and wouldn't match up, it could work if someone was desperate hahaha

I know, I'm saying that in a worst case scenario they could also work on a 91-94 P-body even though that additional outlining black trim piece isn't on those cars. It'd perhaps be an additional way to get them to make them knowing they could fit the other cars too.

lol I wouldn't sell 'em for 300 per piece man. Far too long of a battle finding them as I'm sure you know.

I've called the guy a fes times and haven't heard anything back. I'll try again this week.

And I might be selling the set I have (87-90 driver/passenger, and 91-94 driver/passenger) in the next week or so, but I'll still contact him about reproduction.
