Would implicating a "You need XXX amount of posts" (like 100 or 50) before you can use the buy sell forum. It could help work on the trust factor maybe?

That's been tried before. You know how fast a scammer can rack up 100 posts on a forum? Maybe a half day or so?

Some people just suck, and they're going to suck no matter what the rules say.

Not saying anyone here sucks, just in general, ya know.

I do not know if this is the same person that shafted you, but it is kind of ironic that they are both from Windsor. It could be someone else trying to pin it on this guy. Sorry to hear, sad to say my only problem ever was with a guy in Canada too. Boostboy from Turbododge, never sent me the GLHS speedo I paid for and paypal only got me $10 and change back.

Wow, I am really sorry to hear that Andy. I hope you get your money back for sure. You might want to check out the Brandon Knox thread on TD.com for some ideas. It will most likly be much harder to get your money since you live on a different contenent than he does.

Not that I'm trying to defend anyone (I don't even know him!) but could it be possible he got two seperate packages and their buyer's addresses mixed? Maybe you got someone else's misc. tools and he got your valve cover? (Does the shipping label say "$15.00" and not "$150?" It looks like that in the picture but it is hard to see.) I hope the explaination is something simple like that. We will help try and get this resolved.

Andy- After reading some of the other forum posts, I wouldn't expect there to be any money in the account to refund. According to one guy, Paypal cleaned out his account to partially refund the $1250 this guy stole. The rest will go to collections. My guess is so will yours.

I think the "odd bolts" are actually a set of 3/8" extensions or something. Based on the crap I've seen for sale and people have bought on eBay, I wouldn't be surprised if someone would buy that stuff for $15. No one really on this Forum but somebody might!

Regardless, this MUST be straightened out or he WILL suffer the rath of the Turbo Mopar faithful!
